We use select White Ash to build most of our wooden parts. Hickory, Oak and Birch parts are also available with certain limitations.

Runners
Sled runners are the most popular wooden part that we sell and we carry a wide variety in different styles, curves, thicknesses and lengths. We laminate all of our runners using Titebond III, an excellent waterproof glue. Unless otherwise specified, runners come with a coat of protective oil. Generally all 1½” thick runners have six laminate layers while 2” thick runners have seven.
Custom orders for sled runners are always welcome.

Handles and Brushbows
We build a variety of laminate handles and brushbows to fit most sleds. Since we generally use ⅛” thick laminates you can figure the number used by dividing the parts thickness by ⅛”.

We sell all different sizes of wooden stanchions, crosspieces, headboards and basket parts. These parts can be as rough or finished as you choose.
